The focus of his own professional work is on corporate governance and capital markets legal issues. In addition, he has acquired extensive knowledge in banking and corporate finance working many years for Deutsche Bank, where he had headed the legal department for Germany and Central Europe until 2012. Arne Wittig is co-editor of Wertpapier-Mitteilungen, Germany´s leading journal on banking and securities law, he is on the board of the Bankrechtliche Vereinigung, Germany´s academic association for banking law, and has been teaching at the University of Mainz for some years. Arne Wittig is the editor and co-author of the 4th edition of the treatise on bank and securities law founded by Kuempel, and has published numerous articles in various law journals and several contributions as co-author for legal treatises on all aspects of corporate governance, capital markets, and corporate finance.
